May 30, 2008 –Bill & Jackie Powell named two of LYPA’s 20 Under 40 Rising Stars
Since 2003, the Rising Stars Program has honored and recognized professional members of the community under the age of 40 whom are striving to make Lexington a better place in which to work and live. The Rising Star award runs parallel with LYPA's mission statement - to groom the next generation of community leaders while improving the quality of life in the city of Lexington. The Lexington Young Professionals Association does this through philanthropic, social and networking opportunities with the ultimate goal of retaining young talent in Lexington.

January 15, 2008 — Serif Group Honored by Kentucky Tourism Council
Serif Group was honored for its marketing efforts on behalf of Crowne Plaza the Campbell House in Lexington at the 2007 Traverse Awards sponsored by the Kentucky Tourism Council. The “Tee Party” invitation received a first place award, as did a print ad for Bogart's Lounge and Nightclub. In addition, second place awards went to their “Old & Fashioned” wedding and “First Down Kentucky” football print ads.
