Bill Powell - Principal
He's a right-brainer who loves a challenge, and it comes as no surprise to those who know him that he usually succeeds. After graduating from St. Xavier High School in Louisville in 1991, he went on to pursue an Advertising degree at the University of Kentucky. In 1996 he was one of 23 individuals nationwide chosen to attend the Direct Marketing Education Foundation Collegiate Institute in Chicago for an intense course on all things related to direct marketing.

Immediately following graduation that same year, Bill started work at The Cats' Pause (TCP) as production manager, producing a weekly newspaper and two annual sports yearbooks. While there, Bill guided TCP and their printer in the transition to complete digital production. His next job was with Host Communications where he worked on a variety of projects including the Tennessee men's football and basketball programs and the NCAA finals programs for men's and women's basketball and baseball. Following his time at Host, Bill returned to TCP as the Advertising Manager.

In 2000, he began helping some of his contacts with print graphic design work from his home and decided to work for himself full time, so he "hung out his shingle," as a long-time client once said, and put his experience to work. Full of optimism and energy, when Bill is not busy running Serif Group and Inbox Orange he loves challenging himself with new technology, playing basketball, and spending time with Jackie and their two sons, Zach and Billy.
